Edward Napleton Jr.

Eddie Napleton

Being raised in an automotive retailing family means Eddie Napleton, Jr., had motor oil running through his veins since birth. At family dinners, there was little discussion as to what his path in life would eventually be. But the fact he loved cars made it all the better.

Eddie Napleton Jr

Napleton is a fourth-generation auto retailer with the Napleton Automotive Group. A member of the Automotive News Top 25 Dealership Groups in America, Mr. Napleton had the opportunity to learn almost every aspect of the business, literally from the ground up. At a young age, Eddie got started sweeping up around the dealerships, washing, vacuuming and parking cars. Eddie's father, Ed Napleton, and three of Eddie's siblings are still involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. Today, he is the Napleton Auto Group's Director of Operations.

Eddie was a standout high school athlete, playing for the Fenwick (Oak Park, Ill) Friars basketball team, which competed in the 1997 AA Illinois State Championship. That natural athleticism continued while at Spring Hill College in Mobile, ALA, where he played on the College's golf team. His education continued with a chance to study in Rome, Italy, through Loyola University Chicago. After college, he returned home to reacquaint himself with the family business and prepare for a more in-depth role in the company. He attended the Academy of the National Automobile Dealership Association, which is a trade association teaching best practices and offering continuing education for those in the industry.
